Tasting notes
This grape variety produces an intensely coloured wine that reveals appealing, fruity aromas with complex hints of licorice, spices and almonds. While the wine is well built on firm tannins, concentrated around its generously fruity flavour, it remains pleasantly fresh.
The Fonte Vecchia Montepulciano d’Abruzzo presents a persistent aftertaste and is well suited to accompany grilled red meats, lamb or cheese.
