Hand-harvested, slow fermentation in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 24C. After vinification, the wine matures in these same vats for 4 months, then for a further 12 months in 500-liter wooden barrels, before being bottled for a minimum of 6 months' refinement before release.
Tasting Notes
A wine with excellent structure and a high alcohol content, yet light and pleasant. A deep ruby-red color with garnet-red highlights from barrel ageing. An intense, vinous bouquet with hints of ripe fruit and spices. Excellent structure on the palate, a remarkable wine with pleasant freshness. Exhilarating notes of chocolate and tobacco. A perfect accompaniment to meat dishes roasts and grills, as well as medium-aged and mature cheeses. Best served at 18°C.
