Here's a wine we call a Super Tuscan. A high-quality niche product produced in Tuscany. Hand-harvested, slow fermentation at a controlled temperature of 24C in stainless steel vats for a period of 24 days. This is followed by maceration with the skins for a further 50 days. Vinified, the wine matures for the next 12 months in 500-liter wooden barrels, then bottled for 6 months before release.
Dark ruby-red in color with hints of brick color, a very complex, ethereal nose with intense notes of ripe fruits and spices. On the palate, the taste is full and harmonious, with spicy and chocolate notes. Ideal with red meats and aged cheeses. It is recommend decanting at least 2 hours before serving, at a suggested temperature of 18°C.
