Taurasi comes from the grapes of the Calore vineyard. The grapes, harvested by hand between the end of October and the beginning of November, follow a classic red vinification with maceration on the skins at a controlled temperature. The wine obtained ages for 12 months in large 25 hl barrels and subsequently in steel and bottles.
Tasting notes
In the glass the wine appears intense ruby red in color. Wide aromatic spectrum with references to red and dark fruit, violets and balsamic notes. Rich in thickness, with an important savory vein that gives progression, a long and persistent finish.
Excellent as an accompaniment to roast meats and mature cheeses.
