Tasting notes

This Barolo has a dark garnet-red color with orange highlights. The nose is characterized by scents of undergrowth, white truffle, tar, licorice, spices, coffee and cigar box. These aromas are echoed on the palate: a complex, well-balanced wine with a strong personality. A perfect match for grilled red meats, mushroom-based dishes, international cuisine and aged cheeses. Note: The vines grow in the cru named Rivette, located beneath the castle in Serralunga d'Alba. Annual production is between 3,000 and 3,600 bottles only. Best served between 20 and 22°C.
