Established since the Gallo-Roman era, the vineyards benefit from an ideal south to southeast exposure, promoting optimal grape ripening. Tasting notes
The wine shows a ruby hue with silvery highlights.
First nose: Initially closed, marked by animal notes (leather) and a subtle thread of dark fruits.
Second nose: With aeration, the aromatic profile gains complexity, revealing continued animal nuances, along with blackberry, ripe blackcurrant, and a fresh hint of peppermint.
On the palate, the attack is broad and mentholated.
Mid-palate: A structured core emerges, combining ripe fruit flavors, evolving leather notes, and a pronounced astringency. Finish: Long and elegant, with firm tannins and a saline, mineral edge.
A natural pairing for delicate dishes such as roasted poultry, herb-crusted pork tenderloin, or mushroom-based preparations. It also complements roasted vegetables and refined plant-based cuisine, where its balance and finesse can fully shine.
