The vines grow on a 1.65 hectare plot on sandy-gravelly soil cemented by iron oxides in the subsoil. The harvest is done mechanically with double sorting before putting into vats with total destemming. The aging is done in barrels at 100%.
Tasting notes
Château lafleur Grangeneuve is a wine with a dense garnet red color. A powerful wine with a nice balance, a fatty body and a nice acid structure in symbiosis with the tannins. Aromas of undergrowth, wood and red fruits. Pairs wonderfully with lamb, beef and game meat.
