The vines grow on a mainly clay soil in a region with cold winters but a large amount of sunshine. The grapes are harvested when fully mature. The Pinktone is a combination of 85% Verdejo must and 15% Tempranillo must (with 5 hours of maceration). These two musts are mixed and fermented together in a stainless steel tank.

The alcoholic fermentation lasts approximately 15 to 18 days at a very low fermentation temperature of around 13ºC, using selected yeasts. Once the alcoholic fermentation is finish, the wine is clarified and stabilized.

Tasting notes

Bright and clear, exhibiting an elegant and striking pale pink hue with subtle fuchsia undertones. To the nose it is complex and intense, with floral nuances and subtle hints of tropical fruits and red currant, followed by hints of mineral notes that are characteristic of the terroir. On the palate, it is luscious and well structured, showcasing a refreshing quality thanks to its natural acidity. The balance between pH and alcohol creates a delightful richness, leading to a long finish and pleasant retro- nasal aromas.

A perfect and refreshing wine to pair with appetisers. It pairs wonderfully with pasta and pizza and you will also love it with a selection of soft cheeses and spreads.
